As our population ages, an individual’s desire to remain at home or in a residential setting can present significant challenges to care providers seeking safe, unobtrusive ways to monitor all facets of a resident’s activities.
At present, care facilities rely on emergency response type systems; the most well known being products like ‘Lifeline’ or ‘Help, I have fallen…’ push-button style alerts. These systems are designed around emergency situations in which an adverse event has already occurred and an immediate response is required. If a non-emergency events occurs, such as a resident not eating, or if a push-button isn’t nearby, these methods aren’t as effective.
infitrak solutions were designed to address these limitations by providing an open and scalable architecture that can be configured around the needs of each resident and expanded on as those needs change. The goal of our solution is to allow an individual to ‘age in place’ with dignity.

- Ability to monitor open/close status of fridge doors and the on/off status of electrical devices ability to monitor water level, to ensure bath water is not overflowing
- Motion and direction monitoring, to determine who, and how many people have entered or left an area
- Sensors, can be installed to the bed unit, to monitor sleep related issues, sudden weight changes and occupancy
